Scope of the GTC
These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all magazine subscription contracts concluded with Gabler Media in the context of distance selling
Conclusion of a subscription contract
The subscription contract shall only come into effect upon receipt by the customer of a written confirmation of the order for the subscription selected by the customer. In the case of a telephone order, the contract is already concluded during the respective call, provided that the provider accepts the customer’s offer or the customer accepts the provider’s offer.
Order via the Internet
The customer can select the desired subscription at www.soaring-international.com. In the following input masks, the customer enters the data required to conclude the contract and selects the desired payment method and the time of the first delivery. The customer can correct his entries at any time before submitting the order. Only by clicking on the „Buy“ button does the customer submit a binding order offer, which is transmitted to the publisher.
Contracting parties
The customer’s contractual partner is Gabler Media Verlag, Gussstrasse 26, CH-8180 Bülach ZH, Switzerland.
Right of revocation for telephone orders
A right of withdrawal only exists for magazine subscription contracts that the consumer has concluded with the publisher by telephone.
Terms of delivery
The next issue will be delivered after receipt of the order, provided it is placed at least 10 days before the first publication date. Delivery will be made to the delivery address specified by the customer. The customer service department must be notified of any delivery faults; subsequent deliveries will be made immediately. The customer shall inform the publisher immediately of any name or address changes. The customer is responsible for the non-deliverability of issues resulting from non-delivery or late notification. There is no entitlement to renewed free delivery or compensation.
Subscription period & termination conditions
The subscription period for all subscriptions is one year, meaning you will receive an annual invoice at the beginning of the subscription period. If the subscription is not canceled at the end of the subscription period (four weeks before receipt of the last issue of the subscription period), it will be extended for a further year.
Notice of termination must be sent to the publisher Gabler Media, Gussstrasse 26, CH-8180 Bülach ZH, Switzerland, in writing or by e-mail to gabler@gabler-media.com.
Terms of payment
The subscription price must be paid in advance for the entire subscription period. The subscription price shown in the individual subscription offers includes shipping costs and VAT. The invoice must be paid within 14 days to one of our accounts:

In the event of subscription price increases, the new price shall apply from the date of the increase. The prepaid subscription price is guaranteed for the period of prepayment and cannot be increased. Subscription price increases will be announced in the imprint of segelfliegen magazin before they take effect and will be shown in the invoice or direct debit for the new subscription period. The customer is free to terminate the subscription for cause within a period of 14 days after becoming aware of the increase in the subscription price, i.e. at the latest upon receipt of the invoice or direct debit.
Online subscription
The customer may use the content of the online magazine for private purposes. Exploitation rights (e.g.: distribution or reproduction) for commercial purposes are not granted. The production of a reproduction for private purposes is limited to the customer’s own use. Therefore, making it available to the public for private or commercial purposes is prohibited. The rights of use shall only apply if protective notices (copyright, watermarks, etc.) and reproductions of names and trademarks remain unchanged.
The publisher shall be exclusively entitled to all rights vis-à-vis the customer, in particular those arising from copyright.
Give aways
Suppose a premium is selected in connection with the conclusion of a subscription contract. In that case, it will only be delivered after payment of the subscription price and subject to the reservation that it is also in stock. The publisher will offer a comparable premium if a current premium is not in stock.
Warranty conditions
The statutory warranty claims are unrestricted. The publisher does not assume any further guarantees.
Data protection
All personal data provided when ordering, which is necessary to fulfill the subscription order, is stored in accordance with data protection regulations. We will only disclose this data to third parties in accordance with legal requirements, in particular in the context of criminal proceedings. After termination of the subscription contract, the personal data will remain stored to the extent required by law.
